So Tweedledum, Tweedledee and Tweedledoh are all singing from the same hymn-sheet - "let's have an orgy of public expenditure cuts" - they rant with the support of every harlot in the media!

The unelected Commissioners in Brussels, using their Lisbon Treaty and Stability Pact powers, also whine that the UK economy needs swifter and deeper cuts in public spending to reduce the annual deficit of £187 billion which represents 12.7% of GDP - similar to that of Greece.

They all assume that they will force the workers of Britain to surrender all the social, economic and political gains we have won since 1945 - in the same manner as the Greek working class are currently being extorted.

They will soon move on to attack the workers of Portugal, Spain and France - not to mention the "free" workers of Central and Eastern Europe who were conned into believing that membership of the EU was preferable to Socialism!

The UK economy is NOT in jeopardy - the boss class and their supporters are merely using this depression to try and scare the population and panic us into self-destruction.

Public DEBT, as a percentage of GDP was in excess of 40% at the end of World War 2 and we managed to survive, advance and improve living standards by continuing to invest in public services.

It was during this period that the railways and the energy utilities were nationalised, that the National Health Service was brought into existence, that education was expanded, that a massive council house building programme was completed and as a result the economy forged ahead through the fifties and the sixties, providing almost full employment.

Even in the sixties, public DEBT as a percentage of GDP was approaching 20% and still no meltdown or economic Armagedon!

The slide began in the seventies and has continued since because the bosses revolted against falling profits and cajoled their political partners to begin to attack the Trade Unions, wage levels and public services as a way to satisfy their greed.

The results of this neo-liberal Capitalist gorging on society ended in the spectacular failure of the banking and financial system and its resulting bail out using £1.3 trillion of OUR money.

The £187 billion deficit can easily be contained by pursuing the scandalous levels of tax evasion, tax avoidance and non-collection in the UK, costing £137 billion each and every year, together with the cancellation of Trident nuclear weapons renewal!

Unless we defeat the bosses' onslaught we face a continuing and strengthening depression with all the misery and horror that will follow in its trail.

A revolutionary situation exists when the ruling class can no longer rule in the old way.

This is the condition of the struggle today - let us throw back the attacks of the ruling class by defending our services, our jobs and our unions and produce the conditions for the bosses' defeat and the introduction of policies which place the interests of the workers first and foremost!

Met Incitement begets Football Hooliganism begets Civil Rights Attacks?

So it's all kicked off between the Green Street Crew and the Mile End Mob - how deplorably, terribly surprising!!

The Met's finest spend a whole summer taking a pasting from the Human Rights Brigade and suddenly football hooliganism re-appears on London's streets!

Co-incidence or WOT! Not likely! When and where will the next instalment occur?

Football club representatives whine, "These thugs are not real supporters, they do not represent the club's real fans!" DOH!

We already KNOW that the INITIATORS of football related violence are not real fans - they are right wing activists who have always lain patiently in wait, for the right circumstances to germinate, before they launch their anti-public order efforts to convince public opinion that further restrictions on the democratic right to protest are required to secure peace and safety on Britain's streets.

With policing control policies and practices under unpresidented attack from all quarters since the G20 demonstration and climate camp debacles, the right wing camp in our society was desperate for an opportunity to roll back the criticism of the police and reinforce its ongoing attack upon our democracy.

The first West Ham United vs Millwall Rovers fixture in 5 years was an excellent opportunity for these forces to regroup and re-incarnate their 1980's weapons of mass hysteria!

A few well placed telephone calls from Territorial Support Group elements to British National Party elements in football supporter's groups, all blessed by MI5 and Special Branch, together with copious amounts of liquor, paid for by the British taxpayer - who else, resoundingly and successfully secured the desired outcome - a drunken brawl and witless bedlam in Green Street, London on the evening of Tuesday 25th August 2009!

The events of which, the right wing hope, will lead to urgent calls for increased police powers and further restrictions on peoples' rights to associate, congregate and assemble.

BBC LEADS COUNTER-REVOLUTION

In the midst of the biggest economic crisis for decades, possibly a century (it is not finished yet - not by a long way), the BBC yet again exposes itself as the scion and bastion of the gluttonous propertied classes, instead of pursuing its supposed role of "public service broadcaster."

Every middle-class waster it can get its hands on, is paraded across our screens, mouthing their banal middle-class drivel and stuffing their putrifying middle-class values down our throats.

Every debate or discussion, initiated or broadcast by the BBC, is executed within limited parameters, those parameters being the existing political and philosophical paradigms of the ruling class.

The belief systems and values of the ruled are never given air-time in any meaningful manner which would encourage the growth and development of real working-class concerns and solutions.

All the media are guilty of these practices which is a reflection of their private ownership and profits based existence, but the BBC exists by virtue of its licence fee income, paid by every viewing citizen in the country.

As its paymasters, the public can be forgiven for thinking that the opinions of the majority of the licence fee-paying community, namely the working-class, would and should be broadcast by the BBC!

But no!

How niave and gullible can we be?

Our needs are seemingly catered for through celebrity-led travelogues, property make-overs, celebrity cooking competitions, money from attic rubbish, cringe-inducing soaps and other such trite and spite programmes.

The educative role of the BBC was once one of its strengths, but in this dumbed-down era, the role of the BBC, as far as its service to the working-class is concerned, seems to be "keep the bastards ignorant!"

The worst recent example of this genuflection to limited middle-class discussion was the "big beast" BBC 2 "Newsnight" special on the future of the NHS.

No Jeremy Paxman or Jeremy Vine to lead this "discussion."

The role of "impartial and independent" chairperson was given to Nick Robinson, the BBC's political correspondent and proud member of the Tory Party.

The four members of the panel consisted of health minister Liam O'Brien, his Tory Shadow another O'Brien, Niall Dickson of the King's Fund and some "professional" non-entity who waxed lyrical about extending "the market in health care," obviously blissfully unaware that the civilised world had been brought to the brink of disaster as a result of such neo-liberal, lame-brainer, hogwash.

The other panellists were too polite to capitalise on this glaring debating point or, more sinisterly, conspired to ignore it!

Their "solutions" were efficiency savings and increased productivity - in every day language - sackings, wage cuts and reductions in services!

As with other discussions about cuts in spending, to claw back the £1.3 trillion bail-out for the banks, policies such as taxing the super-rich, enforcing payment of corporation tax, ending tax evasion and avoidance, halting spending on ID cards, IT programmes, privatisation, illegal wars, weapons of mass destruction and the ever growing army of management consultants were never mentioned as a means to avoid horrendous cuts in the NHS.

This was par for the course and is an indication of how deep the conspiracy to further squeeze services which the majority of people depend on, instead of attacking the real culprits for the economic mess, has penetrated the ruling class and all aided and abetted by the "impartial BBC."

WHAT GREEN SHOOTS?

When will political commentators, conformist economists and their media dummies cease using the phrase "credit crunch," which suggests a shallow and temporary dip in the country's fortunes, to describe an economic whirlwind which is rapidly developing into a full blown depression to rival the slump of the nineteen thirties!

These same economists and commentators never warned of the stupidity of dependence on a housing bubble, allied to an historic level of personal debt, to drive economic growth.
Debt eventually has to be repaid, thus damping economic demand!

Neither were they aware of the imminence of the resultant crash, yet 18 months later, they now continue to delude themselves by talking up "green shoots of recovery."

IN THE REAL WORLD THERE IS NO RECOVERY, OR RESPITE, FROM UNEMPLOYMENT, GRINDING POVERTY AND DESPAIR.

These so-called experts, who patently have no idea what they are "havering" about, are obviously of the opinion that things can still go on as before.

These neo-liberal apologists eminently fail to understand that capitalist crises progressively worsen, as the supposed solutions always fail to address the real reason for reductions in demand - the expropriation of surplus value from the basic economic unit - the worker!

Other "pundits " - idiots more like - talk of cuts in public services, yet never offer up cancellations in expenditure on illegal foreign wars, heinous nuclear armaments, identity cards or attacks on our civil liberties.

Our panicky State Leadership have engineered interest rates of effectively zero, introduced "quantitative easing" which is simply increasing the money supply - something we were always warned against as it drives inflation and decreases the value of the pound, thrown £1.3 trillion of our money at the spivs and conmen of the banking, insurance and mortgage and stock exchange fraternity, whose insatiable greed had reinforced a cyclical crisis of capitalism to such an extent that it threatened to bring down the whole decaying and corrupt house of cards.

As with anything cyclical, the economy will correct itself, but at what cost to the people who have allowed their hard earned cash to be used to SAVE a system which ROBS them blind every single day of their lives!

Instead of witnessing home repossessions, sackings and the closure of one business after another, we should be enjoying the spectacle of the wholesale public ownership of the banking, insurance and mortgage-lending sectors of the economy, public investment in our productive and manufacturing industries, the social ownership of bus, rail, air and goods transportation, the common ownership of energy generation and distribution along with a considerable increase in pensions, benefits and wages to stimulate economic activity, together with a price freeze and a massive, publicly controlled programme of council-house building to house the homeless and explode the property bubble once and for all.

OBAMA, ZIONISTS & PALESTINIANS

Finally, an American President has broken half-free of the Zionist lobby and unequivocally ordered them to halt the building of illegal settler towns on stolen Palestinian land but, in a curmudgeonly show of defiance, Zionist leaders and spokespersons have declared that "life will continue as normal," in the settlements and outposts.

What immutable law of nature gives the Zionists the "right" to act in a manner reminiscent of the Nazis - answer - none!

Why should Jews from New York have the right to expropriate land which has been in Palestinian ownership for hundreds, if not thousands, of years?
They should have no such right!

As far as I am aware, and I have been around for almost sixty years, Judaism is one of the Abrahamic religions, along with Christianity and Islam, not ommitting other beliefs such as Buddhism, Sikhism, Taoism and my own personal calling, Aetheism.
Yet to my certain knowledge, Catholics do not have their own distinct homeland, neither do Anglicans, Episcopalians, Presbyterians, Moslems, Buddhists, Sikhs, Taos or Atheists.
So why should Jews have their own homeland?

Neither are they a distinct race, being only one part of the Semitic peoples along with the Palestinians. This begs the question, who are the most anti-semitic people in the modern world - answer - the Zionists!

The historical archive reveals, without any shadow of doubt, that the leaders of Zionism were areligious, secular individuals who were driven by zealous nationalism and nothing else, and were prepared to slaughter and victimise any peoples who stood in their way.
A behaviour evidenced by their treatment of the Palestinians, and British troops, since the early thirties.

The growth of a Zionist Israeli state was driven by the inexorable theft of land from Palestinian families, the destruction of their cultural and civic organisations and the discrimination of Arab peoples who were swallowed up by the gorging Zionist landgrab.

Israel is not a democratic state, as civic life has been totally militarised and Arab inhabitants are treated as second class citizens and denied the right to vote.
This apartheid state will soon force its Arab citizens to swear an oath of loyalty to the Zionist state, subject to a new legal article introduced by the Israeli Foreign Minister who leads an openly fascist party.

The Nazi inspired Holocaust is a gruesome, murderous and criminal historical fact and, although the Zionist leadership was actively complicit in the mass murder of their fellow Jews, as again revealed by the historical archive, they blatantly and deliberately exploited the world's guilt to unleash a holocaust - the Naqba - on the Palestinians.
This 60 year onslaught has now been so severe that the two state solution, which was an elegant 1970's diplomatic solution to the "problem, "is now hanging by a thread!

Since the two state solution was agreed by the Zionists and the Palestinians, from the moment the ink was dry on the page, the Zionists actively worked against the agreement they had signed.
They have continued to encroach on Palestinian land, bomb and shell Palestinian communities, build Israeli only roads, construct the apartheid wall which divides Paletinian farms and villages and use road blocks to obstruct Palestinian passage in their every day lives.
Palestinian areas have been cantonised to the nth degree, so as to ensure that a future Palestinian state is unviable.

If the Americans, who fund the Zionist war machine to the tune of $30 billion per year, fail to impress upon the Zionist leadership the importance of the Internationally recognised requirement for the Zionist Israeli state to withdraw to its pre-1967 borders, allow the return of three generations of refugees and agree to East Jerusalem as the capital of an independent Palestinian state, then the next probable step is a renewed and invigorated intafada which will drive the Zionists and their inhuman belief system into the sea.

This will leave the way open for the establishment of a single secular, democratic state shared by all Israelis and Palestinians, living together in peace and harmony, for their mutual benefit and progress.

REAL CRIME NEVER MENTIONED

The real crime which our not so honourable Members of Parliament are guilty of, and which is never mentioned in our not so honourable media, is attempted hoodwinking and hypocrisy.

Each time our rulers exhorted us, the workers and wealth creators, to rein in our wage demands over the last 40 years, to prevent so called wage-inflation, we were presented with a press-ganged Westminster example of self-sacrifice when MPs and Ministers announced that they to would forgo their recommended increases since we were all in the same boat.

What was not shouted from the roof tops, but which has now been exposed, was their underhand, self-serving alternative of racking up their allowances to make up for their "sacrificial losses."

No such loss adjustment was made to public or private sector wage rates with the result that it was again "Joe Mug" who made the only contribution to "national salvation."

When will we wake up to this economic and financial humbuggery and tell the bosses, and their lickspittle politicians, to stick their wage restraint right up their jacksie.

The Trade Union movement needs to strengthen and extend its influence and demands as it embarks on a determined national offensive to raise incomes, win a massive redistribution of wealth, from profits and dividends to wages, simultaneously boosting economic demand and spending our way out of this banker-politician induced crisis of capitalism.

BOSSES' MEDIA AVOID FUNDAMENTAL TRUTHS

On the day of the launch of the NO2EU - YES to Democracy Euro election campaign the BBC News service carried stories including Baby P's mother's statement of remorse prior to sentencing and Ranulph Fiennes' admittedly heroic ascent of Everest at the age of 65.

Both were stories of public interest, but hardly the status of life changing potential, unlike a resolute campaign to take Britain out of the European Union and return power to the people, to pursue policies in the interests of the many and not the few, as has been the case since Heath signed the Treaty of Accession on 1st January 1973 and the subsequent fateful media inspired referendum decision of summer 1975.

Neither was the launch carried on Channel 4 News, but there was plenty of hot air expended on nonentity MPs fleecing the people of their hard earned taxes.

This feeding frenzy is reminiscent of the tabloid fuelled outrage about Goodwin's pension when the Treasury was busy shovelling £1.3 trillion into bank coffers without a squeak from Britain's fearless, campaigning yellow press.

Now we are threatened by the provisions of the Treaty of Lisbon and the recent anti-worker judgements handed down by the European Court of Justice, so called.

Yet the media which has never publicised the real remit of "The European Project" is prepared to promote fascist and ultra-right wing organisations such as the British National Party and UKIP, instead of warning against the inexorable crawl towards a transnational-corporate-business directed United Federal States of Europe.

At its inception the EU was called the European Coal and Steel Community and through its later incarnations as the European Economic Community and the European Union it has always been the driver of privatisation of publicly owned businesses, services and utilities; the free movement of goods, services and people - or in every day parlance, the undermining of negotiated wages and conditions; so called social legislation which always came with the caveat of opt outs, which successive British Governments have always implemented.

During this time we have witnessed the privatisations of British Steel, British Coal, British Shipbuilding, British Telecom, British Nuclear Fuels, British Gas, Electricity Generation and Distribution, British Rail, publicly owned Water Companies and Bus Companies, Postal Services and coming soon the Royal Mail, the Royal Mint, the Land Registry, Armed Services Training, the National Health Service and Social Services for the elderly and the vulnerable.

Every one them demanded by one European Union Directive after another, the most vindictive being the Bolkestein Directive named after some little known European right wing politician.

While all this was taking place our "honourable major political parties" never once told us the truth of the matter, never once raised a hand to prevent this barefaced robbery of publicly owned assets and never once uttered a challenge about the increased prices and reduced services which followed their blind adherence to the "European Project."

In this scandalous dereliction of duty, the main-stream parties were aided and abetted by every branch of the British media who are now complicit in the millionaire rip-off of the decent taxpayers and citizens of our country.

On June the 4th we have the opportunity to sweep aside this grasping political elite and their gluttonous, profiteering, privateer allies in business, commerce and the media, by voting for the only socialist organisation calling for British withdrawal from the corrupt "Bosses club of Europe" - NO2EU - YES to Democracy.

SECRECY, HYPOCRISY and IDIOCY

Reports of Government intentions to introduce legislation outlawing the public announcement of further multi-billion pound bank hand-outs smells of terror in the face of swelling public opprobrium, revulsion and anger at the mounting and blatant attacks on our living standards from extortionate fares, terrifying energy prices, unemployment and bank bail-outs.

When trade union leaders warn of mass sackings in vehicle manufacture they are told to shut up while Brown, Mandelson et al and their chummy suits in the finance fraternity, not satisfied with trousering £1.3 trillion pounds already, are manoeuvring to expropriate additional wads of our cash by stealth.

Thanks to the incompetence and profligacy of these hideous and despicable apologies for national political and business leaders, the country now has £2,000,000,000,000 (2 trillion pounds) of debt, yet ex-students "owing" a few hundred pounds in student loans are viciously pursued through the courts.

Holier than thou, middle-class buffoons who parade as our elected representatives have no compunction or shame about immersing themselves in the putrifying trough of self-glorifying, self-enriching parliamentary trappings and allowances provided by the "great unwashed" mugs of Britain.

When the sleeping giant that is our country's people eventually awakens, these charlatans will be scattered to the winds of fury, justice and revolution.
